Can anybody explain me the meaning of Forward Contract. I am a newbie and willing to start forex trading.

A forward contract or simply a forward is an agreement between two parties to buy or sell an asset at a certain future time for a certain price agreed today.[1] This is in contrast to a spot contract, which is an agreement to buy or sell an asset today.
