He’s got blinders on after spending two grand on a "class." He wants no negativity, he says. But simple math tells me and should tell him that his capital investment will never make his online "labor" worth more than $5 an hour– and that’d require a 60 hour work week and NO LOSSES. How to educate him without alienating him? Is there a website certain and simple?

I used to trade Forex when I made a $35K from $7K and then lost it all.
I see a total difference in the approach with the same broker - now and then
Earlier I could make money & now any kind of Trade gets automatically stopped out.
I wonder if there is a catch and the whole MT4 software is "gamed" .
In the sense that - on lower time frames , if your broker takes positions against you or goes stop hunting , none of that need reflect on higher time frames.
But if you trade on higher time frames , you will get stopped out by your broker on lower ones and they can easily ...

Which is the best trusted software to trade on line?

If you mean software as in automated trading system or holy grail system/ robot then don’t ( reasons outlined in websites below) . If you mean by platform to trade an account from then it depends on your trading style your account size and your location. Always go with regulated brokers and watch the T&C’s ( again outlined in sites below) test the platform out and research the forums of this world. A Good Reputation will shine through even with the disgruntled comments of those who have lost money due to their own errors. States side check official regulators www.cftc.gov/ www.nfa.futures.org/ for regulated brokers powered by Yahoo Answer...

Can anybody explain me the meaning of Forward Contract. I am a newbie and willing to start forex trading.

(You think Jane is spamming, "google it???")

It costs nothing to enter a forward contract. The party agreeing to buy the underlying asset in the future assumes a long position, and the party agreeing to sell the asset in the future assumes a short position. The price ...

I have done well day trading stocks but have no
knowledge of forex. Do some individual traders
do well consistantly

Yes but not using forex brokers themselves. They are setup under a business model of keeping peoples deposits. They are not compensated purely from pip spreads as you would beleive.Think about a broker such as InterbankFX.They have offices staff payrolls overheads. There is no way they could turn over enough profit to sustain that from just pip spreads.Like an introducing broker.Forex is off exchange meaning unregulated. It means its a private loan agreement essentially they could just keep your money.Futures commodities and stocks are ok because they are heavily regulated. But only way to trade forex properly is through a bank sending bank ...
